1. How do I participate in the 'Top Tech Sites'?

Only computer technical related site are accepted.
Complete all fields in the Submit section to create an account. A link to a 468x60 banner for your site is required during registration.
You will then receive the HTML code to add to your site immediately by email or you can log into the User Control Panel section to get the code once you get your ID. Please insert it on your site as soon as possible.
Reply to the email you received once the code has been added to your site and your banner will be activated. Please reply with the URL that contains the vote button/link.
That's it! As soon as someone clicks on the button on your site you will get credit on the list!

IMPORTANT: Sites found not to have a vote link or button on their site will be deactivated until resolved since the point of a top sites is to be able to vote for them. Inactive sites are automatically deleted by the system after 60 days.

2. How does the 'Top Tech Sites' work?

A link to the 'Top Tech Sites' is placed on participating sites (see link). If someone clicks on the link a hit is recorded for that site. The hit is seen in the "This Month" column on the Top Tech Sites page.
If someone viewing the Top Tech Sites clicks on the site banner, a hit is recorded and can be seen in the stats or if list is sorted by "Out".
The same person can only vote for the same site once a day.
